zx616 Mailing Novelty postcards were very popular in the 1920s - they have a large raised flap and under the flap lies lots of miniature photos - in this particular card underneath the raised large cup it lifts for lots of fortune telling pictures underneath - but it was not opened by the former owner from 100 years ago which is wonderful so whilst I cant see the pictures underneath, most mailing novelty cards were usually opened so have some damage but this is kept as it originally was waiting to be opened - it is unused with some small aging and light places etc but very good condition indeed - and the only fortune telling mailing novelty postcard I have ever secured in 20 years trading.
