William Ewart Gladstone Victorian Prime Minister Politics Hand Signed Letter Document

CHAU4761  Antique 1884 fully hand written and signed letter from the former Prime Minster Sir William Ewart Gladstone which has come direct from Hawarden Castle and is on official headed paper (if you see left of the top right corner address you will see the watermark raised crown embossing). The letter is written fully in hand by William Ewart Gladstone which I invite you to enlarge as I have uploaded the highest quality definition possible.  Please note this has browning with ageing as scan will show.  It has folds where originally posted in the 1880s and has an impression to left side region - also and more notably a browning area to an area on the left that seems more of a stained mark as opposed to brown ageing - So overall I hope this describes this as best as possible and my grading is fair to good mostly good allowing as above - There are no tears and it is folds out to two pages and four sides (though only one side is written on). It has amazing character and with the official watermark from the 1880s on official headed paper, and the souvenir being fully written in hand by William Gladstone you will surely never get a better autograph opportunity than this listing.
