ABIZRA240  This is a beautiful undated but modern published official postcard from Londons Royal Academy Of Arts for this great 1795 work by William Chambers called Design For The Temple Of Diana at Blenheim Palace Oxfordshire with artist details, dates, dimensions etc & Royal Academy Of Arts logo on reverse being the official souvenir from when exhibited unused and mint. 

Executed with a precise pen, black and brown ink, and delicate coloured wash technique, this architectural design features an immaculate, symmetrical elevation layout framed within a meticulously ruled and washed border that projects an aura of stately, Neoclassical equilibrium. The graphic structure highlights a grand Ionic tetrastyle temple fronting, detailing elegant fluted columns in antis, intricate stone capitals, and a classic triangular pediment accented by flowing decorative swags. Drafted circa 1791 alongside his draughtsman John Yenn, this historic presentation piece documents the iconic garden pavilion built for the 4th Duke of Marlborough at Blenheim Palace and is preserved in the permanent collection of the Royal Academy of Arts, an institution Chambers proudly co-founded.
