WG Grace John Minnion Cartoonist Comic Wicket Cricket Scoreboard PB Rare Card

TS396  I can only relay what I am seeing - This is from a huge collection of cricket postcards and autographs but this item I know very little about- it would seem circa 35 years ago origin and is a plain back (PB) comic card (not a postcard) approx 5.5" x 3.5" of WG Grace drawn by John Minnion who has his printed signature on the card and was the famous cartoonist of the New Statesman unused and mint.

John Minnion achieved widespread fame as a prominent British caricaturist, most notably serving as the chief political caricaturist for the New Statesman between 1978 and 1988. His distinctive, high-contrast black-and-white style regularly featured in major national publications like The Times, The Guardian, and the Financial Times. While his professional work heavily prioritised politics, television, and classical music, his personal relationship with sports was unique; he famously captained the New Statesman cricket team and used his signature loopy leg-spin to dismiss over 600 batsmen.
