Trio Hoganas Swedish Acrobats at Blackpool 1972 Large Press Photo

CHAU4065x  A large 10" x 8" press media photo for when Trio Hoganas the historic Swedish acrobats appeared at the Opera House Blackpool in June 1972 with details on reverse in mint condition.

Trio Hoganas was a Swedish acrobat troupe, internationally active in the years 19561975. The trio's members, all born in the late 1920s, came from HÔøΩganÔøΩs and initially called themselves Trio HÔøΩganÔøΩs.

The trio attracted attention with their art, mainly with the so-called "tooth rope", where two of the members held a rope outstretched with their teeth while the third performed balance numbers on it. It was the leader of Furuvik's Youth Circus Bodo West (Rosenberg), who in the early 1950s inspired them to this number and they performed with the circus from 1952.
