"An Arabian Night" was a spectacular, record-breaking British television fantasy play broadcast live on 9 June 1960.Produced by the ITV franchise Associated-Rediffusion, this 85-minute musical extravaganza was specifically created to make television history by inaugurating Wembley Studios' massive Studio 5—which was then the largest television studio in the world and featured an on-screen cast of around 300 people.  It starred legendary Hollywood icon Orson Welles as the central storyteller, alongside British comedy great Stanley Holloway (as Ibrahim) and American actor Robert Loggia (as Nuri).
