"...Tao Geoghegan Hart (born 30 March 1995) is a British professional road bicycle racer who currently competes for UCI WorldTeam Lidl Trek. He rose to prominence as a Grand Tour winner, securing the general classification at the 2020 Giro d'Italia in a dramatic final-week time trial victory over compatriot Jai Hindley, marking him as the second British man to claim a major stage race after Bradley Wiggin's 2012 Tour De France triumph. Geoghegan Hart's professional breakthrough came as a stagiaire with Team Sky in 2015, leading to a full contract with the squad in 2017, during which he secured his first WorldTour stage wins at the 2019 Tour of the Alps.
