ABIZRT8   A stunning undated but modern origin postcard of this historic 1969 BBC magazine cover showing Queen Elizabeth and a young Prince Charles chatting inside the plush interior of the Royal Train and was a promotional still for a groundbreaking BBC/ITV documentary on the Royal Family that the Queen was to ban the following year (see below) unused and mint.

"...The 1969 documentary was an unprecedented look behind the palace walls, showing the royals doing ordinary things like watching TV and having a barbecue. However, the Queen later regretted letting the cameras in so close and effectively banned the film from ever being broadcast again after the 1970s. Because the documentary was locked away in the BBC archives for decades, this original cover art from the postcard remains one of the few tangible, widely circulated pieces of official print media tied to the broadcast.."
