Pro Vietnam War Military March 1968 USA Flag Woodstock Award Photo Postcard

news7 This is a totally unique undated but appears 35 years ago origin postcard by award winning photographer Elliott Landy who a year after taking this photo went on to become the official photographer for the 1969 Woodstock Festival, making his 1968–1969 archive the definitive visual record of the "Woodstock Generation".

The photo was taken during a pro-war political rally in Washington, D.C. These rallies were organized by conservative groups, veteran associations, and right-wing activists who strictly opposed the anti-war movement and marched to demand that the U.S. government fight for total military victory rather than withdraw from Southeast Asia. It captures a passionate supporter fiercely waving a large American flag. He is wearing a distinctive, period-specific political sweatshirt bearing the slogan "Victory In Vietnam."

It was sourced by a collector of some of the most  historic photo manipulation art works & famous groundbreaking news award winning photographs in history (see his full collection he sourced being sold at my store) which this particular postcard appears to originate from Italy and is unused and mint.
