Pfalzer Empfang AM Bahnhof Train Railway Station 1925 Old German Postcard

NP143 Antique postcard of Pfalzer Railway Station on 15th August 1925 -Google states that on this date in history it marked the final French and Belgian troops starting to leaving the Ruhr region by late August which was a significant step in resolving post-WWI tensions and the postcard shows people arriving for the street demonstrations.Volume 1 of Hitler's manifesto, Mein Kampf had been released a few weeks before so could be related .It is a fascinating postcard from 100 years ago unused and whilst a little age faded and one very small place this is otherwise pristine unused condition.

The Pfalzer 1925 demonstrations took place in the German Rhineland (specifically the Palatinate region, or "Pfalz") to mark the Millennium Celebration Of The Rhinelands Afilliation with the German Empire ("Rheinische Jahrtausendfeier"). This card shows the demonstration to assert German national identity against the ongoing French occupation after World War I. The celebration in the postcard was organized to demonstrate "national sentiment" and the thousand-year history of the Rhineland as a German territory, in opposition to French influence.
