 SMATZ015 ORIGINAL 10" x 8" VINTAGE PRESS PHOTO FROM THE CENTRAL TV ARCHIVES - This listing forms part of a collection of television photos from some of the best loved actors, memorable moments, and behind the scenes off camera footage in Crossroads - It has the TV Times official press notes & markings on reverse - It is outstanding condition but please note the TV Times have placed a white thin paint surround around the actress for the purposes of publishing that week in the magazine -  It is dated April 1988 and was the official Central TV photographic master used to advertise the episode in the media before it was broadcast featuring Nina Weill a handicapped child actress that joined the set for a number of weeks and newspaper reports stated she stole the show from the era (please see image 2).  Own a piece of Crossroads history. 

The Crossroads show was stolen for a few weeks by little Nina Weill, a mentally handicapped six-year-old who moved in to live with Sharon (played by Carolyn Jones) and Diane (Sue Hanson).

"It was a strange experience for all the cast," Ronnie Allen said.  "We were not only working with a child, but with a handicapped child.  I'm not saying it was easy - it wasn't.  "She had to be coaxed into doing the right things.  Everyone soon learned that one way to get her to do something was to tell her not to.  "She made friends with lots of the cast, but for some reason she never bothered with me.  She stared at me very hard the first time we met and I stared back.  After that, she gave me a wide berth.
