Mr Billy Boyle of The 1970s Basil Brush Show Hand Signed Theatre Photo Page

CHAU5275     A specialist opportunity to secure this original early hand signed 9" x 7" theatre page for Billy Boyle of the late 1970s Basil Brush Show stepping in as the main presenter following the departure of Roy North ("Mr Roy").  He has personally autographed the souvenir where his signature rests perfectly accompanying his full page photo.  Bar centrally folded once where originally posted (which is how I will send) it is otherwise mint condition and the autograph is undedicated too.   A very hard signing to source and he also played Mick in Stanley Kubrick's cinematic masterpiece Barry Lyndon to more recent appearances in global hits like Bridgerton, Ted Lasso and Silent Witness. (bonus signing on reverse too - see image 2)

As "Mr Billy," he lived in a flat with the mischievous, joke-cracking fox puppet, Basil Brush. His role was to act as the patient, easily exasperated, but deeply affectionate foil to Basil's chaotic humor and trademark "Boom! Boom!" catchphrase. Because Boyle was an accomplished West End musical theatre star, the producers actively utilized his singing abilities. Every episode featured a musical segment where "Mr Billy" would perform a song-and-dance routine, often accompanied by Basil.
