Michael Dimmatina Vintage Australia RARE 1989 VCA Kleenex Cricket Trade Postcard

TS396 This 6" x 4" postcard sized and appearance 1989 jumbo trade card of Michael Gerard David Dimattina was originally printed as an exclusive promotional collaboration between Kleenex Tissues and the Victorian Cricketers’ Association. It celebrates Michael Gerard David Dimattina's achievements for the club during the late 1980s Sheffield Shield seasons, featuring a stunning match-action photo of him on the front alongside his facsimile (pre-printed) autograph. The reverse provides a fascinating look at his career, detailing whom he was recruited from to join the club, his former tours prior to joining, and his incredible career statistics presented as a detailed chart (see image 2).

It was a limited-edition official collector's item only sent to local Victorian cricket clubs, junior training academies, and corporate event VIPs. It is now extremely scarce because it was never commercially available for sale and never had the larger print run of a standard trading card. The few fans who did manage to obtain one of these during games at the grounds generally treated them as temporary match-day novelties, so they threw them away decades ago. As such, these items are now exceptionally rare, and the one I have secured is in absolute mint condition so you won't source better, both sides scanned for your full examination.
