Meikleour Police Motorcycle Traffic Patrol Perth Scottish Photo Trade Card

CC20x   A vintage rare limited edition approx 3" x 2" local Tayside Police photo trade card from over 40 years ago of motor cycle policeman PC Ronald Forbes on Traffic Patrol duties besides Perthshire's famous Beech Hedges at Meikleour. The card details about the height of the hedges and also PC Ronald Forbes high visibility police motorcycle clothing he is wearing from the era when published.It was from Tayside Police as part of a public relations and safety awareness campaign of the era. The card was sponsored by British Telecom (BT) during a period when they were heavily promoting their own new technology and used similar pictorial styles for their internal and public telephone cards during that era. The card features full information on the reverse accompanied by the local Police badge, trivia about the hedges where PC Forbes is photographed and also has police advice directly given from PC Forbes about dangers of fire caused from playing with matches. It is in absolute mint condition.
