Louis Amade French Police Prefect Edith Piaf Lyricist Signed Card

PFAS189   A 4" x 2" official business card for historic French Police Prefet Louis Amade (13 January 1915 - 4 October 1992) with a personal message written by Louis Amade in hand too.  This has two indents from handling so please be aware. Louise Amade was an official lyricist to the legendary Edith Piaf.

Louis Amade was one of ÔøΩdith Piaf's lyricists . She introduced him to the young Gilbert BÔøΩcaud in 1952 . Immediately, they worked together and proposed Les Croix to Edith Piaf, who recorded it in 1953. Louis Amade became BÔøΩcaud's mentor and encouraged him to sing . He became one of BÔøΩcaud's main lyricists, writing the lyrics for many of his greatest successes, including the lyrics of L'important c'est la rose, part of the texts of L'OpÔøΩra d'Aran or the poem L'Enfant ÔøΩ l'ÔøΩtoile, which BÔøΩcaud turned into a cantata . He awarded the artist the Legion of Honor on the stage of the Olympia in 1974.
