The Junkers Ju 87G-2 Stuka (serial Werknummer 494083) stands as one of only two complete, intact surviving examples of the legendary dive bomber left in the world. Originally built around 1943 as a D-5 ground-attack variant, this airframe was later heavily modified into the specialized G-2 "Panzerknacker" tank buster, outfitted with lethal 37mm anti-tank cannon pods beneath its inverted gull wings. Captured by British forces at Eggebek in May 1945, it was hand-selected by the Air Ministry for preservation and today resides as a premier exhibit at the Royal Air Force Museum Hendon.
