PFAS211 This is an original 5.5" x 3.5" hand signed antique photo for historic Hollywood actress Judith Anderson who has personally autographed the souvenir where her signature rests perfectly accompanying her portrait - Very small corner fraying and lightly aged (see scan) otherwise mint condition and undedicated too.  I am relaying exactly what I am seeing and this has an impression from where obtained which is Carl Van Vechten - See lower right corner and this is impressed into the surface officially so slightly raised and great character.   I have researched this source and it seems he was an American writer and artistic photographer famous for photographing Judith Anderson privately (please see below) adding to its value and making this surely the best early autograph for Judith Anderson of its kind.

Carl Van Vechten was an American writer and photographer known for his celebrity portraits. Van Vechten took many photos of Judith Anderson between the 1930s and 1940s, often in costume for her theatrical roles, including her famous performances as Medea and in plays like The Old Maid,. These images are preserved in collections at institutions like the Library Of Congress and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
