zx624 This is a 1995 collectors Royal Mail official postcard souvenir of this stamp of Jim Sullivan published at the same time as the first day release of the stamp designed by Christian Birmingham and showing on reverse the design history etc information with year and publishers etc making this a stunning rugby collectors souvenir unused and mint (same as brand new).
Jim Sullivan was a Welsh rugby league player, and coach. Sullivan joined Wigan in June 1921 after starting his career in rugby union. A right-footed toe-end style goal-kicking fullback, he scored 4,883 points in a career that spanned 25 years with Wigan, and still holds several records with the club today.
