In the post-war era, he balanced a high-profile career as a Gaullist politician—serving as a Member of Parliament (député) for the Paris region—with major media leadership roles, including managing director of the prominent economic newspaper Les Échos. Later in life, he transitioned into corporate consultancy, operating his private firm directly out of the exclusive private mansion at 16 Avenue Robert Schuman in Paris.
