Grace & Speed Greyhound Russian Whippet Borzoi Saluki Old Spratts Dog Postcard

TS402 Antique rare postcard from the Spratts Champion Dogs Series which this card is called Grace & Speed and features the world's most famous sighthounds and racing dogs including the  Greyhound, Whippet, Borzoi (Russian Wolfhound), Saluki (Persian Greyhound), and Scottish Deerhound. Bar very light corner impressions (just mild surface) from former album storage this is unused in otherwise outstanding condition (ex minus grading unused). 

The artwork on this card is distinct from the others; instead of a tight, dense cluster, the composition is much more open and flowing to mirror the shapes of the dogs themselves. The illustrator focused heavily on anatomy—capturing the deep chests, tucked waists, and long, slender limbs built for extreme velocity. The contrast in coats is beautifully handled, placing the silky, feathering fur of the Saluki and the luxurious, wavy coat of the Borzoi right alongside the smooth, muscular lines of the racing Greyhound.
