zx186 This stunning antique illustrator postcard of a Fishing Boat at Bass Rock is from Victorian born historic art illustrator RP Phillimore described as one of the greatest postcard artists of his time. It was published between 110-120 years ago origin bar tiny corner fraying in outstanding used condition (ex minus)    RP Phillmore's postcards were notable for their distinctive sepia tone, delicate hand-coloring, and historical notes and have great unique character.  I am proud to offer one of the greatest RP Phillimore collections of its kind and please see all his other postcards at my store. 

Please note this reads "Alt" as it has a lower border area which other cards of this view do not have giving it a more wider sea effect and the sun is a strong shimmer of yellow too.
