Earl Granville 1958 Private Wedding Invitation St James Palace

CHAU3359 Antique 1958 private wedding invitation sent to historic WW2 doctor Elston Gray Turner from Earl Granville for the wedding of his daughter a little aged and a couple of places to please allow but very good condition (folded once where posted). (vg-)

This has come from the private collection from the estate of Doctor Elston Grey-Turner CBE MC TD (16 August 1916 20 January 1984) who was a British medical doctor who served in World War II and was on the staff of the British Medical Association for many years. He joined the Royal Army Medical Corps and served as regimental medical officer to the 2nd Battalion of the Coldstream Guards 19421945. He was awarded the Territorial Decoration, and also the Military Cross.
