CHAU2155  This is a vintage large A4 size letter composed and hand signed by Dr Otto Gauer which was part of a collection from a medical student in the 1970s and 80s writing to historic doctors and surgeons discussing their research and gathering their autographs. It is folded where posted but otherwise mint condition and personally autographed by Professor Dr Otto Gauer on his official Berlin offices headed paper so you will not find a better autograph opportunity anywhere. Otto Heinrich Gauer (2. Mai 1909 in Heidelberg- 22. Januar 1979 in Berlin) war ein deutscher Physiologe. Er war Mitarbeiter am heutigen Max-Planck-Institut fÔøΩr Herz- und Lungenforschung in Bad Nauheim und von 1963 bis 1979 Lehrstuhlinhaber am Institut fÔøΩr Physiologie an der Freien UniversitÔøΩt Berlin. Er gilt als BegrÔøΩnder der Gravitationsphysiologie. Nach ihm wurde der GauerHenry-Reflex benannt.
