CHAU5072  A rare opportunity to secure this 4.5" x 2.5" index card for historic French actor Claude Rich with a beautiful small but fully hand written passage message to the fan and signed at the bottom - This is a very rare signing to source and for the ultimate in COA I enclose the envelope sent direct from France to the fan with his writing on the reverse with his home address (see image 2) . The envelope is vg and the autograph index card is mint.

Claude Rich was an acclaimed and deeply beloved French stage and screen actor whose career spanned nearly seven decades. Born in Strasbourg in 1929, he trained at the prestigious National Conservatory of Dramatic Art alongside a legendary generation of talent that included Jean-Paul Belmondo and Jean Rochefort. He skyrocketed to national stardom in 1963 for his breakout performance in the iconic comedy-thriller Les Tontons Flingueurs, which quickly launched him into collaborations with New Wave master directors like Alain Resnais and François Truffaut. Celebrated for his distinctively elegant charm, intellectual irony, and trademark mocking smile, he went on to win the César Award for Best Actor in 1993 for his masterclass performance as the diplomat Talleyrand in Le Souper.
