bg375 An incredible 1950s postcard of the Australian Lyre Bird where the flap by the bird opens and which folds out from inside lots of smaller themed pictures of this bird and her habitat - cards like this in England were called Mailing Novelty Series from around the 1920s - this also looks antique but has a 1950s postmark but this does mean published that year (it seems a lot earlier) - has some quite strong age fading used graded vg minus.
