Miss Margaret Halston Old Shakespeare Actress Hand Signed Postcard & MORE

PFAS202  This is an original antique hand signed postcard for historic turn of the century Shakespearian actress Miss Margaret Halston who has personally autographed the souvenir where her signature rests perfectly accompanying her portrait bar very tiny corners in otherwise outstanding condition (ex minus to ex) - This reads "and MORE" because Margaret has also personally addressed the reverse of the card to the recipient written fully in her handwriting so a double signed item (you can verify this by examining image 2 and seeing the identical pen and writing of the era).  A very scarce signing & you wont source better.

Margaret Halstan (25 December 1879 8 January 1967) was a British stage and screen actress, who often played upper-class ladies of the gentry, with a career spanning over six decades. She was particularly known for her Shakespearian roles, and it has been stated she appeared in every one of his plays, she was particulary noted for he role in Othello as Desdemona, she made her professional debut in 1895. At the turn of the century she joined Sir Frank Benson's theatre company, and also played in the theatrical companies of Sir George Alexander and Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree, before making her debut in silent films in 1916.
