ts200 Bansko is a town at the foot of the Pirin Mountains, which are part of Pirin National Park, in southwest Bulgaria. Its a gateway to numerous ski and snowboard slopes on Todorka Peak, including the challenging Tomba run. Footpaths cross the parks craggy alpine landscape, home to bears and wolves.This postcard published around 25 years ago shows the Monastery as it was in 1835 unused and in outstanding condition (bar light surface is absolutely mint)
