Ian Michael Bibby is a retired British professional cyclist specializing in road racing and cyclo-cross, who competed at the Continental level from 2009 to 2019 and secured multiple national titles and international victories during his career. Bibby began his competitive cycling journey in his youth, initially excelling in mountain biking and cyclo-cross before shifting primary focus to road racing around 2010.

He won the British National Cyclo-cross Championships in 2010 and the British National Circuit Race Championships in 2015, establishing himself as a versatile and consistent performer across disciplines.  Representing England, Bibby debuted at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, where he competed in the men's time trial and road race events. Throughout his professional tenure, Bibby rode for several prominent British Continental teams, including MotorpointMarshalls Pasta (20102011), Endura Racing (2012), Madison Genesis (20132014 and 2019), NFTO Pro Cycling (20152016), JLT Condor (20172018), and Madison Genesis in his final season. His career highlights include overall victory in the Velothon Wales (2017) and second place overall in the New Zealand Cycle Classic (2018) with a stage win, as well as stage wins in prestigious races such as the Tour of Japan (2018), Tour of the Reservoir (multiple years), and An Post RÔøΩs (2015).

Bibby also demonstrated prowess in one-day events, securing wins in British series like the Lincoln GP (2017), Chorley GP (2015 and 2017), and Ryedale GP (2015 and 2016), while achieving podium finishes in international competitions such as the Tour de Yorkshire (third on the final stage in 2018) and the British Road Race Championships (third in 2017). Retiring at the end of 2019 after 16 years in the professional peloton, Bibby transitioned into roles within the cycling industry, including as a business development manager for Cycling Accident Management Services and previously as an area sales manager for a bike brand. Known for his endurance and tactical acumen in hilly and time trial stages, Bibby's career underscored the strength of British domestic cycling during a period of growing international prominence for the sport in the UK.."
