Wilfred Goatman WW2 BBC First Swansea Wales Radio Times Hand Signed Letter

CHAU4760  A rare opportunity to secure this vintage 1948 hand signed BBC letter from historic BBC former wartime broadcaster Wilfred Goatman .  During the 1940s, Wilfred M. Goatman served as a key official within the BBC’s overseas and international broadcasting divisions, playing a vital administrative role during World War II. However he is most famous for making history as the very first voice ever heard on air for the BBC's station 5WA in Swansea.

This letter is in reply to a Military Major and its contents include about the Radio Times in the 1940s, the Overseas Services for the BBC and their orchestras programming schedules (please enlarge scan to read its fascinating contents for your full examination) - It is folded twice where originally posted which is how I will send - has small places to allow,is lightly aged and has a brown small staple place otherwise great condition.
